Mohamed Yousuf Adil
Akbarkhan
Currently studying at the London Institute of Shipping and
Transport, for a Postgraduate Diploma in Shipping Management
student Mohamed Yousuf Adil Akbarkhan.
Adil, who is normally a resident in Dubai, where he had been working
for the Coal and Oil Company, Dubai, UAE. Where he had been
responsible for Post Fixtures and Operation of chartered vessels of
the company. Prior to this he worked for the Emirates Trading
Agency in Dubai, as a Shipping Executive – Post fixtures and
Chartering.
Originally from Chennai, India, he obtained his B.Com from Madras
Christian College part of the University of Madras, India. He came
to London in September 2004 to further his career in the shipping
field by taking the Post-graduate Diploma in Shipping Management at
the London Institute of Shipping and Transport.
Whist studying in London, he has managed to get a part-time position
in a ship broking company Merit Maritime Limited. Where he
has been gaining very valuable experience in the London
international shipping market. On completion of his Post-graduate
Diploma in Shipping Management, they have indicated that they will
find him a permanent position either in their London or Dubai office.
