  • This University of Huddersfield course equip you with the knowledge and skills required for an exciting and challenging career in airlines, air freight, freight forwarders, express couriers and general logistics and supply chain management. The optional year-long work placement is highly recommended as it gives you great practical insight into your potential employment choices.   • Duration: Either 3 or 4 years.The 4 year course offer the opportunity to spend one full year on a paid industrial placement after year 2.
  • Entry requirements: 12th Class (10 plus 2) with good grades for 1st year entry.Top-up course, good grades at either Diploma or Advanced diploma in a related subject for 2 or 3 year entry.
  • Fees: £10,500 per year (Scholarship £2,000 available)
Program Structure This course is the first to link the general principles of airline and airport management to the discipline of logistics management. It recognises the need for graduates who have a full understanding of the role of the aviation sector in supply chain management. The demand for air transport of both passengers and goods continues to increase. People wish to travel more often and further for both leisure and business pursuits. The globalisation of supply chains challenges land-based transport infrastructure, resulting in the enormous growth of air freight. We equip you with the knowledge and skills required for an exciting and challenging career in airlines, air freight, freight forwarders, express couriers and general logistics and supply chain management. Teaching methods include lectures, tutorials, seminars, workshops, role play, case studies, case projects and site visits. Assessment includes reports, essays, presentations, exams and case study analysis.

Career Opportunities Graduates from other courses in Transport and Logistics have recently secured jobs with companies in the air transport and air freight sector including Jet2, Malaysia Airlines, Cathay Pacific, British Airways, TNT and DHL.
