Mehmet and Ibrahim
Turkish Engineers
Pictured, Mehmet Guler and Ibrahim Solak who are currently
Post-graduate Diploma in Shipping Management students at the London
Institute of Shipping and Transport.
Mehmet, who has three years experience, working as a marine engineer
for UND Ro-Ro Shipping Company, Istanbul as a 3. 4. Marine Engineer.
Prior to this he worked for Turkish Maritime Lines in
ferry-passenger ships, to save for his education, after qualifying
at Technical University of Istanbul, Maritime College as a Marine
Engineer Operations. Mehmet is going to work in a shipbroking
company, in the Far East, China or Singapore. Eventually, he is
planning to open his own shipping company.
Ibrahim, originally form Odemis / Izmir, Turkey, graduated from
Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul from the faculty of Electrical
Engineering.
Both aim to take Masters degrees in Shipping Management, when they
finish their Post-graduate Diploma in Shipping Management.
